Congratulations to all Marching Rebels for yesterdays big win at Forestview.

You had the second highest music score of the day. The only other band to score higher out of the 15 bands that were there was JM Robinson.

I am so very proud of you for overcoming a lot of adversity on our way to this day. We lost several students, forcing a rewrite of the show after we had already put it on the field. The weatherman was determined to derail us and finally if that was not enough, we got cancelled at Mount Pleasant.

Although you have set the tone for the rest of the season, Let us not forget that there is still much to do. Our marching program needs to improve and we need to continue to refine and polish our musical performance.

Let us each bring our best efforts to practice so that we may continue to raise the bar for ourselves during this marching season.

I am so proud of each of you and I know you will give the Marching Rebels your best. I can't wait to see what you do next Saturday.
